Batman v Superman is (almost) here!
The final trailer for Earth’s most heroic of beatdowns is here.
We’ve got just over a month to go now until our heroes Batman and Superman duke it out in one of the most eagerly-awaited films of 2016, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, and its final trailer has just been released.
Following hot on the heels of the (quite frankly odd) Turkish Airlines Super Bowl Spots, the final trailer teases more of what we’ve already seen, and once again seems to confirm that Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice could very well redefine the almost-stale superhero genre. The action in this film looks absolutely incredible, and the new actors in some of the more iconic roles – Jeremy Irons as Bruce Wayne’s steadfast butler, Alfred Pennyworth, for instance – look like they’re really going to bring their own unique level of gravitas to parts played previously by some of Hollywood’s most recognisable names.

Of course, it’s very rare that a trailer is released on its own, and that’s certainly not the case here, as a couple of new posters have been unveiled too, which you can see below.
I don’t know about you, but in a year packed full of superhero films – this month’s Deadpool, April’s Captain America: Civil War, May’s X-Men: Apocalypse, August’s Suicide Squad and finally October’s Doctor Strange – Batman v Superman really stands out as potentially the cream of the crop, bringing together two of the most iconic superheroes out there and pitting them not only against each other, but against some other pretty iconic villains from their respective lores. Throw in Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman and Jesse Eisenberg’s new take on Lex Luthor, as well as a first look at the heroes who we’ll slowly be coming to know collectively as the Justice League, and it looks like we’re going to be onto a winner!
