As promised, the first teaser trailer for the 24th film in the James Bond franchise, SPECTRE has hit the Internet.
Clocking in at over a minute and a half, the trailer reintroduces Daniel Craig as the world’s most famous British secret agent, and also welcomes back some old friends and enemies in Naomie Harris’s Moneypenny and Jesper Christensen’s Mr. White, the latter of whom readers may remember as one of the stooges of the shadowy ‘Quantum’ organisation behind the events of both Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace.
SPECTRE is once again directed by Skyfall’s Sam Mendes and will open in the UK on 23 October 2015. SPECTRE stars returning cast members Daniel Craig as James Bond, Ralph Fiennes as M, Naomi Harris as Moneypenny, Ben Whishaw as Q and Rory Kinnear as Tanner, as well as new additions Cristoph Waltz as Oberhauser, Dave Bautista as Mr. Hinx, Monica Bellucci as Lucia Sciarra, Léa Seydoux as Madeleine Swann and Andrew Scott as Denbigh.
The official synopsis for the film reads as follows:
A cryptic message from Bond’s past sends him on a trail to uncover a sinister organization. While M battles political forces to keep the secret service alive, Bond peels back the layers of deceit to reveal the terrible truth behind SPECTRE.
