Disney release new The Force Awakens character posters

Today’s posters get us up close and personal with the main stars of Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens.

We’re almost at the final countdown for the release of The Force Awakens now, with just over a month to go until the latest instalment in the Star Wars saga hits cinemas. Today, Disney have treated us by releasing a series of character posters showcasing the film’s main stars – both new and returning.

The posters provide great looks at Harrison Ford and Carrie Fisher as Han Solo and Leia Skywalker, as well as John Boyega’s Finn, Daisy Ridley’s Rey and Adam Driver’s evil Kylo Ren.

In more The Force Awakens news, director J.J. Abrams has revealed the film still isn’t finished, with him due back in the recording studio for one final session with the series’ composer, John Williams.

Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens is released on 17 December 2015; you can see the full cohort of new character posters in our gallery below.
