Fantastic Four reboot synopsis revealed
The official synopsis for Josh Trank’s The Fantastic Four reboot has been unveiled.
Released August 2015, Josh Trank’s The Fantastic Four reboot has, until now, been shrouded in mystery, with very little public confirmation of any sort coming from any outlet – which is curious in itself considering films releasing December 2015 are now being granted trailers (we’re looking at your Star Wars!).
Today, the synopsis for the film has been shared by 20th Century Fox via Rotten Tomatoes and it reads as follows:
“The Fantastic Four, a contemporary re-imagining of Marvel’s original and longest-running superhero team, centres on four young outsiders who teleport to an alternate and dangerous universe, which alters their physical form in shocking ways. Their lives irrevocably upended, the team must learn to harness their daunting new abilities and work together to save Earth from a former friend turned enemy.”
The new imagining of The Fantastic Four stars Michael B. Jordan as Johnny Storm/The Human Torch, Kate Mara as Sue Storm/The Invisible Woman, Miles Teller as Reed Richards/Mr. Fantastic, Jamie Bell as Ben Grimm/The Thing and Toby Kebell as Victor Domashev/Doctor Doom.
