Marvel releases first teaser trailer for Ant-Man
The first trailer focuses on the relationship between Paul Rudd and Michael Douglas.
Hot on the heels of the first poster reveal, Marvel have dropped the first teaser trailer for the final film in Phase 2 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Ant-Man.
The trailer, which highlights the relationship between Paul Rudd’s titular Ant-Man and his mentor Hank Pym, played by Michael Douglas, clocks in at just under two minutes in length.
Alongside Rudd and Douglas, Ant-Man also stars Evangeline Lilly (LOST, The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies) and Hayley Atwell (Captain America). The film’s synopsis reads as follows: “The next evolution of the Marvel Cinematic Universe brings a founding member of The Avengers to the big screen for the first time with Marvel Studios’ “Ant-Man.” Armed with the astonishing ability to shrink in scale but increase in strength, master thief Scott Lang must embrace his inner-hero and help his mentor, Dr. Hank Pym, protect the secret behind his spectacular Ant-Man suit from a new generation of towering threats. Against seemingly insurmountable obstacles, Pym and Lang must plan and pull off a heist that will save the world.”
Ant-Man will be released in the UK on 17 July, 2016.
