In true geek fashion, JJ Abrams has revealed the names of the characters seen in the first Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens trailer via a set of artcards, harkening back to the 1977 Topps Trading Cards which featured original artwork from the first Star Wars film.

The cards themselves can be seen below, however here’s a quick rundown of the names revealed:

• Oscar Isaac – Poe Dameron
• Daisy Ridley – Rey
• John Boyega – Finn
• The “ball droid” is BB-8
• The mysterious Sith is Kylo Ren

Abrams has also said that the numbering of the cards is significant – here at Screening, we’re wondering if these could correspond with the scene numbers of each image depicted…?
