Watch the first Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice trailer now!

Today’s early trailer release comes after a leaked version hit the Internet yesterday.

The first trailer for Zack Snyder’s Man of Steel sequel, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice has been officially released.

Snyder originally teased the trailer’s release for this coming Monday, 20 April, however the trailer has since leaked onto the web, prompting today’s official release two days early.

As well as including new shots of Henry Cavill’s Superman, the trailer includes our first look at Ben Affleck in character as Batman, as well as featuring the voices of Jeremy Irons’s Alfred and Jesse Eisenberg’s Lex Luthor.

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is the first film in a slew of releases which herald the formation of the Justice League, DC’s answer to Marvel’s Avengers. It has already been confirmed that Jason Momoa’s Aquaman will feature in the film, with Snyder releasing the first official photo of Momoa in character back in late February.

The full roster of DC’s new cinematic universe is as follows, through to the middle of 2020:

  • Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice – March 25th, 2016
  • Suicide Squad – August 5th, 2016
  • Wonder Woman – June 23rd, 2017
